Business Bay Dubai is a mixed use master planned business district under construction in Dubai, UAE. Located between Downtown Dubai and Al Khail Road, the project is expected to have 240 skyscrapers, comprising residential and commercial developments. Many of the plots within Business Bay were sold to third party developers, who subsequently sold off plan individual units with the buildings on strata titles to investors. The infrastructure provision within most of the area is still under construction, which has had a significant impact on the pricing of buildings in the area that are ready for occupation. However, the Roads and Transports Authority (RTA) and the Dubai Municipality have recently announced that they are restarting the creek extension project which is expected to provide a boost to the Business Bay area. Once completed Business Bay is expected to join DIFC, Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Burj Khalifa to form the central business district of Dubai, known as Downtown Dubai.
Some of the most notable buildings in Business Bay include O14, Vision Tower, Churchill Tower, Ubora Tower, Empire Heights, Aspect Tower, and the Prism. Prominent tenants in Business Bay include Bausch and Lomb, AECOM Technology Corporation and PepsiCo.
